Who is P12 WoodWorks?
We are a Christ-centered small business owned and operated by a husband and wife team out of Rio Rancho, NM. We're intent on spreading the love and hope of Jesus Christ through our business and the interactions that it creates. Not interested in those conversations? That's okay! We continually strive to demonstrate that love through our behavior, regardless of who we interact with.
What's with the name?
P12 is a reference to Proverbs 12. Though there aren't any direct references to pets in the bible (that we've found thus far), Proverbs 12:10 is the closest we've come across. But if you read through the entire chapter, you'll find topics like hard work, planning, faith, honesty and humility among many others. Not only do we find this to be a packed chapter, but it also clearly represents the values that we believe a business should embody.
What exactly do you do?
We originally set out with a single-minded focus on building furniture that appealed visually to pet parents and provided a functional home for pets. We have since expanded our offering to include significantly more. Though we'd still be happy to build your dog, cat, gecko, chinchilla, or yeti a home, we can provide so much more. If you're looking for a bed, coffee table, cubby set, closet unit, built-in cabinets or essentially anything else that can be built, let us know. If we can't provide it, we most likely have a local partner that can!
What's special about P12?
Three primary pieces differentiate us
- High-quality materials only - unless requested, you won't find home store pine, MDF, or particleboard in your project. In addition to the current domestic hardwoods, we'll be adding exotic woods in the near future.
- Joinery - We use the correct joint for the job. Maybe that's box, dowel, butt, lap, or others, but it's almost never a pocket hole.
- Configurability - We have moved to what is essentially a full-custom environment. We'll sit down with you and go over every detail to ensure your project is exactly how you want it for years to come.
